The Big Crafty came and went in a hurry. I had a lovely day selling my wares and running into friends, and at the end of the day I traded a few little things with another seller and bought a few gifts. Last Christmas I didn’t buy a single gift, but the spirit of the handmade season has made me want to support my fellow artists and crafters when I can. It means a lot to me to sell the things I love to people who love them, and I feel excited each time that I sell an item. And I love to pass that feeling on by buying directly from the artists themselves.

I’ll be posting lots of new books on my etsy site in the next week or so, and they’ll also be for sale at The Dry Goods Shop, along with my 11×17 2011 calendar (only $10 and a wonderful gift. It was my biggest seller yesterday!)
